The San Francisco Bay area has a vibrant Irish music scene. From its various seisiuns, a group of East Bay musicians came together in 2021 to form Sixpenny.

Sixpenny is dedicated to traditional Celtic music, played on acoustic instruments. This is lively music that makes audiences smile and raise a pint! And no Irish band is complete without a song or two.

Sixpenny has performed at the largest Celtic events in the Bay area, including the Scottish Highland Gathering and Games, and the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day festival.
