A great new recording of Jeff Klepper/Dan Freelander’s Shalom Rav appears on Ruach 5775, and I am one of a chorus of 50 singers who added harmonies from our remote studio locations. Also on the same album, I am one of the back-up singers for Stacey Beyer’s beautiful Candle Blessing.
In case you have lost track of where I am these days, I am happily serving as the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Emek in Pleasanton, CA. Stop by any Shabbat, and you are likely to hear me leading spirited and soulful worship, guitar in hand. The music is great, and the congregation loves to sing.
Camp Joy outside of Cincinnati gives over 2,000 campers an experience of fun every summer, many of them low-income or children with medical conditions that make participation in other summer camps difficult. Camp Joy is a Cincinatti Nonprofit of the Year winner. Their director tells me that Stars in the Sky is one of the key songs in their camp repertoire.
